Apex uses a Class IV high-level laser that applies high-intensity red and near-infrared light over selected injuries or lesions. The therapy is used as part of conservative treatment for certain soft-tissue and musculoskeletal complaints.
Laser therapy may be used on its own or integrated with other care depending on the patient’s presentation, goals, and clinical findings.
Why laser therapy may be included in a care plan
Apex uses a Class IV laser that applies high-intensity red and near-infrared light over a targeted injury or lesion. Apex describes the monochromatic, coherent quality of that light as what distinguishes it from modalities such as electrical stimulation or ultrasound.
It may be used on its own, or alongside
chiropractic care, soft-tissue work, or exercise instruction. Which combination makes sense depends on the complaint, the findings at evaluation, and the patient’s goals.
